Position Description: The Speech Therapist is responsible for the competent completion of several duties including, but not limited to, initial patient assessment, patient treatment and documentation. This position provides direct patient care primarily to adult and geriatric patients and occasional pediatric and adolescent patients. Position includes use of company car, competitive pay, flexible hours and great experience! To provide exceptional home health care for our 28 county northeast Kansas region, PRN, a Medicare certified home health agency, offers care in a variety of disciplines and utilizes a variety of equipment and technology. PRN is a Home Health Agency of Choice and was recently awarded the "HomeCare Elite" Award for 2006 by Decision Health publications. The award is given to the top 25% of US home health agencies. Key Responsibilities: - Client assessments and comprehensive evaluations - Plan of care recommendations to improve communication skills and/or swallowing functions - Complete and timely follow through on all patient treatments and assignments - Timely and thorough visit documentation - Client follow-up as necessary Qualifications: - Kansas Licensed Speech Therapist - 2+ years experience - Experience in providing adult and geriatric patient care - Desire and ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary environment - Flexible Schedule - Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record - Positive Work Ethic Contact: - Complete employment application and email with resume to prn@wamego.net. |
